CILAs

The Community Integrated Living Arrangements are services provided for clients living in the community in homes provided by the agency or in the clients' homes. The recipients of these services are eligible for Medicaid certified services but are receiving the services in alternative settings.
These settings are inspected and monitored by the Department of Human Services (DHS). Each client receives an array of assessments and then services are provided to meet these needs. The size of the living arrangements vary from 2 people to 5 people and a full range of services are provided from intermittent to 24 hours a day. The clients receiving these services are not in need of regular medical supervision or intervention.
These services are provided by arrangement with the Department of Human Services and the department shares in determining who will receive these services.
